Article: Remember Your First Job?
By: Audra Gehrke-Schwalm

The first thing I ever did to make some money was babysit. That was the worse job ever because it was so boring. lol

My second job was mowing lawns. Now that was something I was pretty good at. I did it better then the guys and they told me so. lol I had a partner and we had almost 50 yards we were mowing on a consistent basis. The people just loved us for some odd reason. We were young but we did do our job well.

I think it was when I turned 16 that I started in the Real workforce, at the famous Wendys. lol I hate that place now! I was 16 and I hated going to work everyday making $3.25 an hour. It sucked and I wanted to make more money for the work I was doing.

Most teens go to work just for the money, I was different. I always did the best I could no matter what job it was, and I knew I deserved more money and better respect. Just because someone is young doesn't mean they don't work hard. It depends on the person. We are all different and some people tend to forget that.

That Wendys job lasted about a month. You know why? Because the people I worked with could care less about their job. I can't stand being around, let alone working with people like that.

It's not just the teens, it's the adults too. I quit a job after 3 years because of some jerk. I bet that owner is now out of business because of him. That guy could of cared less about his work, he was only in it for the money. I tried to warn my boss but he wouldn't listen. His loss.

Throughout our lives, we do all different sorts of things from work to having different hobbies etc.. As we grow, we change and keep learning and experiencing new things. It's like an adventure that never stops. A mystery just waiting to be discovered.

If you don't want to go back to your first job, then take that first little baby step into a new path. Take a step back and take a long hard look at your life and your accomplishments. Now think of that little something that you really, truly, honestly to yourself, are passionate about.

And Voila, now you have a Theme for your Own Business! See how easy that was? The hard part is putting it into Action. If you start now, you can be where I am within 2 1/2 years depending on how fast you learn. I'm a hands on person, I just try it and do it. If it don't work then I change it.

Never ever stop learning and experiencing new ideas you have. If it doesn't work the first time, then try it again. Don't give up so easy. Most of us it takes a few times. I wish you could see the first website I made. It was really horrible. But I learned from that first website. That's the adventurous part, and it feels great when you learn something new, especially when you learn it on your own.

Forget about the past, you can't change it. Concentrate on Now not the future, it will be here soon. Live for today, and feel blessed when you wake up tomorrow. Do what you Love to do and everything else will follow.

Make your next Job your Last Job!

To Your Success!

All the best,
Audra
