I've been marketing online for over 4 years,
and I've done telemarketing for 2 years.
Is there a difference between the two?
No, I see no difference at all between the two.
For online marketing, we must stick to it daily. The same goes for telemarketing. If we don't make those calls, who will?
Now comes the ad writing.
For online marketing, if we use the same ads over and over again will people still buy? More than likely not. Would you?
For telemarketing, if we read the same script over and over will people still buy?
Yes. Why? Because this is the first contact I've made to that person. They haven't heard this pitch before. This is the first time they are hearing it.
Unless the script isn't you, then change it to reflect you. The same goes for your ads for
online marketing. Don't use the same ads everyone else is using. Write from the heart, leave the hype out, and just tell it like it is.
Be honest and upfront with people. Don't tell others that they'll make $600.00 by next week. We all know that that doesn't happen, especially when we're first starting out.
There really is no difference between online marketing and telemarketing. The difference
is how you approach people about what you're selling. Your attitude tells all about you and believe me, your prospects will see it too. Would you join someone who had a bad attitude?
Have pride in what your selling, be honest, and Always start the day with a good attitude.
You will see your success rate sky rocket through the roof! Now that's one thing, I can GUARANTEE!
